Patient Participation Group
Who? - The Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a group of volunteers that vary in terms of age and experience. Our aim is to make sure that we, the patients of Westbury Group Practice, get the most from the service.
What? - The Westbury PPG was formed in 1998. We consist of a team of nine committee members and a membership of around twenty-five people. We meet regularly at the White Horse Health Centre. The PPG meetings are often attended by one GP, the Managing Partner and the Deputy Practice Manager.
Why? - Westbury Group Practice has a vast array of services available and is growing fast. It's innovation in areas such as mental healthcare has been a benchmark to other Surgeries. There is a lot to be proud of, but there is still much to do. We want to help you to understand the services that you can access and we want you give your input into the running of the practice. We are fully supported by the Doctors and staff at the Practice and meet with them to make sure that we all understand the direction, issues and concerns facing the practice.
How? - Should you wish to find out more about the PPG please ask a member of the reception team for a PPG Information Pack. Membership of the PPG is open to all patients registered at the Wesbury Group Practice, we welcome new members.
When? - The following dates have been set for the Westbury PPG meeting during the coming year. Please come along if you are interested in what the practice has to offer you and your family. All meetings start at 18:30 and are held at the White Horse Health Centre unless stated otherwise. They are open to everyone and new members are always welcome.
