Mark Dickson (Practice Manager)
Mark was born and raised in East London, South Africa. He attended the University of Port Elizabeth and studied Accountancy. He served his articles at a large accountancy firm in East London before being appointed as audit manager at a large national accountancy firm in Port Elizabeth. Mark and his wife, Leigh-Anne, were married in 1998 and immigrated to the UK in 2001 on an ancestral VISA as his grandparents are British. Mark began working in the UK for specialist medical accountants and joined the Westbury Group Practice as the Finance Manager in 2007 in a shared role with another GP practice in the area. Mark’s role developed until such time as it was no longer feasible to continue the shared role and he joined Westbury Group Practice in a full time capacity in 2011. He, along with the rest of the management team, has worked closely alongside Debbie Riddiford until her retirement at the end of 2014. Mark and his wife Leigh-Anne have two daughters, Hannah and Madison. Mark enjoys playing golf and road running and has completed various marathons.
Marie Strachan (Operations Manager)
Marie joined Westbury Group Practice in October 2011. Marie left school in 1995 and worked as a dental nurse in Cornwall and gained the National Qualification for Dental Nurses in 2001. Marie moved to Wiltshire in 2002 to work for a large dental corporate as a Senior Dental Nurse and soon after promoted to Practice Manager. In 2010 Marie changed career and went to work at Wiltshire Primary care Trust as a Contract Support Manager and more recent as Shared Care Coordinator for Drug and Substance Misuse for Wiltshire. Marie is married with two children.
Sam Rawlings (HR & Facilities Manager)
Sam grew up in Westbury and joined the Practice in 2001 as an Admin Assistant. A year later Sam trained to become a Health Care Assistant and really enjoyed the time spent caring for patients. After some 10 years of mixing both roles, Sam chose to focus her career within the management team and is now enjoying the daily challenges that this brings. Sam is married with one daughter, she would describe herself as an animal lover and her pride and joy is her beautiful dog and rabbit, she regularly volunteers at a local equestrian club helping to run dressage and show jumping events, all of which keep her very busy when she is not working.
Jane Bartlett (Services Development Manager)
Jane joined the practice in 1988. She first started as a secretary and over the time has progressed to the Admin and Secretarial Departments Manager. During her time she has been involved with many changes and developments within Westbury Group Practice. Jane enjoys the challenge of the varied tasks within her role.

Julia Office (Clinical Lead)
Julia joined the surgery in 2004 and is now the Clinical Lead. She specialises in contraception and sexual health, women's health, cervical cytology. She is a qualified implant and intrauterine fitter. She qualified in 1987 and initially worked in operating theatres.
