Westbury Group Practice only manage the White Horse Dental Practice and White Horse Aesthetic Clinic and do not have control or responsibility over any consultations, treatment or correspondence you may receive from our other tenants.

White Horse Dental Practice

After the completion of the White Horse Health Centre, the White Horse Dental Practice was born. At present, the practice have three Dentists and one Hygenist.

White Horse Aesthetic Clinic

White Horse Aesthetic Clinic offers a wide range of cosmetic treatments in a professional setting. Treatments are carried out by fully qualified doctors registered with the General Medical Council and who are fully insured.

The clinic can provide many advanced procedures in addition to the more commonly requested treatments. This includes anti-wrinkle injections and lip enhancement, non-surgical facelifts, 8 point lift filler technique, PDO thread lifts, Silhouette Soft threads, non-surgical rhinoplasty, tear trough correction and chin and lower face re-sculpting.

The clinic is committed to the highest ethical standards, only using treatments that we believe to be effective and will always give a realistic assessment of the outcome of any proposed procedure.

Independent Health Group

The Independent Health Group provides minor day surgery from the surgical suite at White Horse Health Centre. At IHG, our patients’ experience is of the utmost importance to us, which is why we choose to base ourselves at locations such as the White Horse Health Centre using hi-tech, modern, facilities that are easily accessed.

Founded by Dr. Matthew Wordsworth, Independent Health Group offer high quality treatment for local NHS patients with short wait times. We are particularly proud of our patient satisfaction rate, with 100% of patients who responded to our survey saying that they would recommend the service to their friends and family. Procedures currently available with Independent Health Group at White Horse Health Centre include Carpal Tunnel Surgery, Hernia Surgery, Vasectomy, Foot Surgery and Cataract Surgery.

Salisbury District Hospital

Salisbury District Hospital provide a number of services at White Horse Health Centre including a Walk-In X-Ray service, Orthopaedic Clinics, Rheumatology Clinics, Haematology Clinics, Plastics Clinics, AAA Screening, Joint School Seminars as well as a Chemotherapy Clinic.

The largest service SDH provide is a walk-in X-ray service two days per week (Monday and Wednesday) for patients referred by their GP. This means a patient could see their GP 09:00 Monday morning, and have their X-ray completed by midday. Those images are then reported on promptly by our Radiologists and the results sent back to the GP within just a few days. At the end of last year, SDH invested tens of thousands of pounds replacing the X-Ray equipment with the newest digital technology, providing fast, accurate clinical imaging for patients across the region.

Avon & Wiltshire Partnership

The Wiltshire IAPT Service is an NHS provider of psychological support to patients over the age of 16 years registered with a Wiltshire GP practice. The service provides a wide range of support through GP surgeries to people experiencing common mental health difficulties, primarily those associated with anxiety and depression. The Wiltshire IAPT services range from self-help therapies, to pycho-educational courses, online and one to one support.

Many people go through periods of difficulty in their lives, which can leave them feeling stressed, anxious, depressed and unable to cope. IAPT offer psychological therapy to help people with a variety of problems. A number of counsellors who operate out of the health centre, these are provided by the IAPT service. Assessment appointments with a Psychology Practitioner can be arranged by calling the Wiltshire IAPT Service administration team on 01380 731335.

Virgin Care

Wiltshire Children’s Community Services use the White Horse Health Centre as a base for health visitors and the Family Nurse Partnership service.

Being based at the centre is integral to delivering services within local reach of families at a key stage of their child’s development. With this in mind, we will have dedicated rooms at White Horse Health Centre which are dedicated to Community Paediatrics, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy which will give families in Westbury greater access to health services for their children.

Our vision is to provide a truly integrated service with a multi-agency team approach to provide individualised care.

RUH Bath

The RUH provide a physiotherapy service by referral at the White Horse Health Centre.

Physiotherapists help people affected by injury, illness or disability through movement and exercise, manual therapy, education and advice. They maintain health for people of all ages, helping patients to manage pain and prevent disease.

The profession helps to encourage development and facilitate recovery, enabling people to stay in work while helping them remain independent for as long as possible. You can benefit from physiotherapy at any time in your life. Physiotherapy helps with back pain or sudden injury, managing long-term medical condition such as asthma, and in preparing for childbirth or a sporting event.

Relate Counselling

It doesn’t matter if you’re on your own, married, living together, single, gay, bisexual, straight or transgender, Relate Counselling are here to help you, however you identify. Lots of people have an idea of what relationship counselling is and think that you only need counselling when things get really bad. But we’re here whenever you need us, no matter what situation you face in your relationship. Even if your problems seem trivial, Relate can help.

The counsellors provide a caring and supportive environment to help you find a way through any difficulties you may be facing in your relationship. Counselling can take place in a number of ways at a time to fit in with your life. Face-to-face counselling is available at our Centres all around the UK, but we also offer counselling services via telephone, webcam and other online options.

Alzheimer’s Society

The Alzheimer’s Society is a care and research charity for people with dementia and their carers. Despite its name, the charity does not exclusively help people with Alzheimer’s disease. There are many types of dementia, which is an umbrella term. Dementia types include vascular dementia, dementia with Lewy bodies, frontotemporal dementia, Korsakoff’s syndrome, Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease, HIV related cognitive impairment, mild cognitive impairment, and other rarer causes of dementia.

It is a membership organisation, which works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The society operates from the White Horse Health Centre to provide regular support groups for carers and patients alike.

Crosspoint Counselling Service

Personal counselling is provided for adults and young people in need in Westbury and surrounding areas.

Crosspoint provides one on one counselling free of charge. To access this service, anyone can refer themselves by completing a form from Crosspoint, Westbury Group Practice, or the Children’s Centre. Our counsellors are all experienced therapist and supported by highly qualified supervisors.

We also have drop-in sessions on Monday & Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings with two volunteers on duty. This provides the opportunity for social contact as well as help and support with issues including: Universal Credit and benefits, CV preparation, applying for grants, etc.

Wiltshire Council

A dedicated health trainer can assist you every step of the way to achieving and maintaining your health goals. Health Trainers work on a one to one basis to support behaviour change and improve health.

Two health trainers who work at the White Horse Health Centre every Tuesday between 14:00 and 17:30, they are here to offer free one-to-one support to enable you to make positive lifestyle changes to improve your health. They can help with diet, losing weight, smoking cessation, drinking less alcohol, being more active, self-confidence and general wellbeing.
