Our travel clinic offers NHS travel related immunisations to registered patients of Westbury Group Practice.
We will need you to complete and return a Travel Risk Assessment 8 weeks prior to your departure. We are unlikely to be able to offer the NHS service if you are travelling in the next 8 weeks.

If you qualify for NHS vaccines, there will be no charge for Tetanus, Diphtheria and Polio, Typhoid, Hepatitis A, the combined Hepatitis A/ Hepatitis B and Cholera vaccines.
Some Vaccines are only available from Private Clinics but we can make recommendations for what you may require for your planned itinerary.
Some infections associated with travel do not have adequate vaccination protection. We will advise you on how to minimise your risk of acquiring these infections when you travel.
Every vaccination has the potential to cause side effects. We advise you to visit the website https://www.travelhealthpro.org.uk/ to check which vaccines you may require. At your appointment we can discuss your travel risks and help you decide which vaccines you should have.
We are not a Specialist Yellow Fever Vaccination Centre. We can give advice about whether you may require this vaccine and we can signpost you to a specialist centre. Please check the guidance and information on the following website https://travelhealthpro.org.uk/disease/194/yellow-fever. This will enable you to make an informed decision and if necessary avoid travelling to countries with a yellow fever risk. Yellow Fever vaccination is not advised for anyone over 60 years due to the risk of side effects, please check your itinerary before booking a holiday as you may not be able to get the required certification to travel.
Your completed Travel Risk Assessment can be emailed to us at bswicb.wgppatientvoice@nhs.net, or handed in to reception. Your form will be triaged as soon as possible and we will contact you with a telephone appointment to speak to one of our nurses.
